New typeface: Taler

A versatile, yet distinctive slab serif in case you’ve been looking for a font to pair Nekst (but not only that)

October 5, 2021

Taler — is an eclectic slab serif typeface with rectangular, slightly extended serifs and brutal plasticity. Rude and elegant at the same time, Taler is good for both headlines and small sizes, body text and display, for texts about the 19th and the 21th centuries. These internal conflicts make Taler highly recognisable, modern and versatile in all its seven styles ranging from Thin to Black.

Author of Taler, Denis Serebryakov, lives and works in Minsk. We have already released his works: Displace and Nekst on type.today, Epos — on tomorrow.
