About

Taler is an eclectic slab serif typeface with rectangular, slightly extended serifs and brutal plasticity. Rude and elegant at the same time, Taler is good for both headlines and small sizes, body text and display, for texts about the 19th and the 21th centuries. These internal conflicts make Taler highly recognisable, modern and versatile in all its seven styles ranging from Thin to Black.

Authors

Denis Serebryakov

Denis is a font and graphic designer working in Minsk. His interest in type design stems from the development of logotypes: every logo greatly affected the look of fonts, all being display. He released the first retail typeface in 2011. Among his typefaces are Appetite Pro, Bouquet, Canapa, Displace 2.0, Epos, Rozza, and others.
