New typeface: Graphik Condensed

A new width for the bestselling Graphik collection

March 4, 2025

Graphik Condensed is an all-purpose editorial, online, corporate design, app, and wayfinding typeface. With warmly rounded letterforms and a comfortably condensed feel, it is an excellent blank slate for graphic design.

Perfectly suited for editorial use, Graphik Condensed was created for fitting headlines in tight spaces on screen or print but is also suitable for text with some additional tracking. Graphik Condensed retains the warmth and friendliness of Graphik by keeping the curved upper and lower sections of the characters while elongating the straight sides. These consistent curves help harmonise the system across different widths of Graphik and allow them to form distinct pairs. They have appeared together in the identity of CADA, an Australian hip-hop radio station, and in the Esquire magazine.

01 CADA, Australian hip-hop radio station event posters. Set in Graphik, Graphik Condensed, Graphik Wide, Ayer. Design: Universal Favourite

02 “The New American Center”, a spread from the Esquire magazine. Set in Graphik, Graphik Condensed. Design: Matt Stevens

Graphik Condensed, just like the other typefaces in the collection, Graphik and Graphik Compact, features eight weights, each with a matching italic.
