At the end of 2024, Riga-based publisher Talka Books issued a collection of poems in two languages by Semyon Khanin, a participant in the Orbit text collective. The book’s typography in both Russian and Latvian is catered by Kazimir Text designed at CSTM Fonts. The book is designed by Esther Betija Grāver.
Kazimir Text is a text option of the headline Kazimir, an attempt to reimagine the late 19th-century book typography. Compared to Kazimir, the text face has wider proportions, lower contrast, quite an extended character map, and a considerably greater choice of weights.
