Freight — a studio that delivers ad campaigns and special projects to promote brands — has updated its own brand identity. JJannon by Optimo Type Foundry is used for body text and subheadings, while headlines and more elaborate typographic compositions are set in Publico Text Mono by Commercial Type.
Originally one of the candidates considered to become a display typeface for The Guardian, Publico ended up making its debut in a Portuguese daily newspaper. Since it basically shares the skeleton with Guardian, typefaces from these two collections work great when applied next to each other.
