Factor B in use: People We Knew Were Indians

A typeface inspired by the analogue synth era and an exhibition about North American indigenous arts

23 June 2006

In 2024, the National Museum of Korea held an exhibition on how indigenous peoples of North America reflected on harmony in their arts and crafts.

Factor B by Interval Type was used in the typography of this art show, designed by Joonho Kwon, Minjae Lim, and Tearong Kim.

Factor B is a versatile geometric sans. Its basic character set appears strict and rational, yet you might reconsider your first impression once you see the Altiverse set with its naïve geometrically structured alternates inspired by the typography of early synths.
