Oceanic Text, Oceanic Grotesk in use: myTrudy

An HR startup assisted by two typefaces from one collection

22 July 2025

MyTrudy is a young business that helps its customers with career guidance and job search. When navigating the job market to find an employer, they primarily focus on how comfortable the client will be working in their new company and new role. The brand identity is helped by two faces from the Oceanic collection by Interval Type: Oceanic Text and Oceanic Grotesk. The identity has been developed as part of a collaboration between Daniil Sergeev, Andrea Nguyen, and Anyi Sun.

The Oceanic collection consists of five families: text, display, and monospaced serifs, inspired by fat faces of the 18th and 19th centuries, and two sans serifs, Oceanic Grotesk, which embraces the mid-20th-century Modernist approach to typography, and Oceanic Gothic, which inherits its design solutions from the first sans serif typefaces of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

As all the fonts in the collection have identical vertical metrics, they will work great with each other in the same layout.

If you used the fonts from our library in your project, please tell us about it! You can do that by sending us the links and images at info@type.today.
