Oceanic Text by Interval Type drives the typography of the identity for Mill Italian Bistro, designed by Non-Objective. The logotype and graphic elements were created by Artyom Matyushkin and Liza Tyutyaeva.
Oceanic is a collection of three serifs — monospaced, text, and display — and two sans typefaces, where one is Modernist while the other inherits its design solutions from serifs. Oceanic serif families are inspired by both the plasticity of fat serif faces of the 18-19 centuries and the design of sans type from the 19the and early 20th centuries.
