In the summer of 2023, a historical museum located in former docks of London (an area for repair of ships) turned 20. The museum decided to celebrate this number by a small festival, an identity for which it commissioned from Studio Bergini. The identity is built around the photos of London docks taken back in the 50-60s, with its typography using Megazoid by David Jonathan Ross and Marfa by ABC Dinamo.
Megazoid naturally combines sci-fi vibes with photosetting plasticity. The typeface brings together squares and circles, avoiding triangles and sharp angles even in its counterforms. Megazoid is open for experimentation and works great with shadowing, outlining, double outlining.
