The Big Wall Sport climbing centre’s identity, its merch and interior is a graduation project by an HSE Art and Design School’s graduate, Elizaveta Kanygina. In her project’s presentation, Elizaveta shares that she picked Platform because its glyphs look striving upward — just like people who are passionate about rock climbing.
Platform is contemporary geometric sans. As it is well aware of its clumsy personality, specific to super simple geometric shapes, the typeface won’t bring them to perfection but rather addresses it with a contemporary graphic design approach.
