Beyond is a cosmic trip festival to be held in 3024. This fictional event was made up by Anastasia Bushueva as part of her student project at the University of Technology Nuremberg. The festival identity uses Rene by Fedya Abroskin, Suisse Int’l by Swiss Typefaces, and Editorial New by Pangam Pangram.

Rene is a display typeface with flat serifs and excessive ink traps, built within a grid of rounded rectangles. An almost conventional skeleton coexists with a distinctive bit-mapped texture, and the typeface’s upright, static lowercase characters neighbour its wild italic uppercases.
