Xprmntl 02 in use: Betula

⅔ of the CSTM Xprmntl 02 collection in the brand identity of a fictional music label

December 10, 2024

Betula is a fictional music label and recording studio that Alyona Trach came up with for her graduation project in a Bang Bang Education school’s typography course. The label’s logo uses CSTM Xprmntl 02 Bold, its posters and leaflet cover are set in CSTM Xprmntl 02 Italic, and Raleway from the Google Fonts library is applied to the project body text.

Three completely different fonts are brought together in the CSTM Xprmntl 02 family: Regular, an ultra-closed sans with exaggerated, curly stroke endings, Italic, a contrast serif with deliberately straightened diagonal strokes, and Bold, a heavy sans with reverse contrast of strokes and proportions. All three work great together yet do not get lost when left all by themselves.

If you used the fonts from our library in your project, please tell us about it! You can do that by sending us the links and images at info@type.today.
