Art Is Possible All Around Us is a collection of articles written over the past thirty years by Gleb Ershov, art historian and professor at the European University at St. Petersburg. The book is a kind of profile of Russian art spanning from the 1990s to 2020s. Menoe by Hungarumlaut is used for the titles; body text is set in Kazimir Text by CSTM Fonts; Rodion Ilyukhin’s Retiler was chosen for the publication’s spine and its flyleaf. Trofim Popov designed the book.

Kazimir Text is part of a large text collection by CSTM Fonts — Kazimir + Kazimir Text — characterised by lower contrast (compared to Kazimir) and an expanded character set. Kazimir Text’s 22 styles and two variable fonts support extended Latin and Cyrillic.

Retiler is a modular typeface with a brutal, simple structure, which makes it a perfect choice for DIY projects, whether it’s a stencil graffiti, a pop-up café’s menu, or a scoreboard for an amateur football tournament.
