New typeface: Algorytm

Welcome five new versatile sans serifs designed by Interval Type

9 April 2006

Algorytm is a modern collection inspired by early sans serif faces such as Times Gothic, Inland Gothic N6, and Gothic N2. This comprehensive, flexible system can cover any design scenario, ranging from an identity for a tech corporation to craft beer labelling.

The collection includes six families, totaling 51 styles. The basic Algorytm is ideal for bold statements and larger sizes, while Algorytm Clear is best suited for quieter, longer text settings. Algorytm Soft is a friendly, rounded-corner version that is here to soften the tone of voice, while Algorytm Sport, a dynamic in-line sans serif, adds excitement. Algorytm Flip, with its unconventional distribution of contrast, can single-handedly shape a project’s unique voice, whereas the monospaced Algorytm Mono does a perfect job even across huge amounts of code.

The typeface contains a set of text figures, framed numerals, plenty of stylistic alternates (such as four graphic variants of y and two versions of ж), and a set of mathematical symbols.
